The CVFH have kindly agreed to pay the PRA membership for any Cotswold Vale Pony Club members having their first ride in a pony race at their meeting. This is a great meeting to have your first taste of pony racing as the point to point is a day for novice riders.

Pony Races

There will be three pony races over 4 furlongs approx for children aged 9 to 15 on the 1st January. The races are for novice riders, which means they must not have won more than 3 pony races.  The race entries are decided by the height of the pony, they will include one for ponies measuring 138cms and another for 148cm ponies. To enter a pony race you have to be a member of the PRA, (Pony Racing Authority), and application forms can be found at www.pra.gb.com where you will also find the race entry forms.
