This is the fourth year that we have combined the Vale Country Fair with the Cotswold Vale Farmers Hunt Point to Point in the beautiful Cotswold Hills, four miles from Cheltenham, at Andoversford. It is a great day out in a spectacular setting, for all families with outside and country interests.
We were pleased to win an award for our Point to Point in 2009 and are sure that this years event will be even more successful.
We will have 7 Point to Point Races, 2 Pony Races and a Shetland Pony Race. There will be Terrier Racing and lots of classes to enter in both the Family and Working Dog Shows. We also will have a Falconry Display, the ever popular Pheasant & Poultry Marquee and a Taxidermy Pavillion. New for 2010 will be The Vale Country Run, Flyball Demonstrations, Rare Breeds, Alpaccas, Ferrets and the opportunity to have flutter on our Indian Runner Duck Race. Master Oats, Gold Cup Winner 1995 will also be in attendance. There is always fabulous food to eat and drink, bookmakers, a licensed bar with local beers, lots of stalls and stands to browse, a big slide and fairground stalls for the kids and a Farmers Market to name but a few.
